Fakealot.com is an established online shopping destination with great service and product offering. My main goal of this project is to give Fakealot.com a serious face-lift and modernise it to bring it up to date with other online stores.

Competitor Analysis
I conducted detailed competitor analysis exercises across different features to benchmark Fakealot against the global eCommerce market.

Homepage
Our machine learning algorithm creates a curated shopping experience for each user. Thus, the landing page caters to their unique needs and wants.
Design
Cart & Checkout
Users can update, edit and delete items in their cart, as well as move items into a wishlist. The cart screen displays the amount needed to be spent in order to earn free delivery and offers personalised recommendations. I also reduced the four step checkout process to a single screen summary view, where repeat users can easily edit their personal details.

Users can easily manage & collaborate with others to curate custom lists for every special occasion.

Dark Mode
As an additional feature, the app can be viewed in Dark Mode based on the users device preferences.
